Lord of Goblins became Webtoon.com’s #1 Fantasy Webcomic Today!

The webtoon Lord of Goblins, scripted by this humble writer, hit #1 in Webtoon.com’s Fantasy category today in their Canvas section. As you can see below in this screengrab…

There’s a new goblin king in town!

For those not familiar with it, Webtoon divides their webcomics into two levels: Originals and Canvas. Originals are webtoons which are signed exclusives to webtoon.com and get featured on their front pages. They’re the big boys of the website, like major sports league teams. Canvas webtoons, on the other hand, are the minor league teams: they’re non-exclusive or amateur webtoons which are posted by whoever wants to, and there are a lot of them, so it’s very hard to rank in the Canvas categories because of the intense competition.

And after 8 released episodes, we did it!

This webtoon is a team effort, and I’m very proud to be part of the Moonquill team and of the artwork Darkness Studios is doing for the comic. We’ve been putting a lot of work into the webtoon now for over a year (it officially launched in August of this year, but we’d been working on it for a while), and seeing it reach number one really makes it all worth it.

What now? Wait and see!
